The Agilent 1260 Series is one of the most rugged and durable liquid chromatograph systems available on the market today.
This HPLC is in excellent condition and has been fully serviced before sale, including testing and replacement of parts (refurbishment) where necessary. The maintenance was performed by the regional largest Value Added Reseller of Agilent Technologies. The comprehensive maintenance report is available on request.
This HPLC consists of the following modules:
G1311B – quat pump
G1329B – IF (automatic liquid sampler)
G1316A – ColCom (column compartment)
G1314B – VWD (Variable Wavelength Detector)
G1311B – Quatpump
The Agilent 1260 Infinity Series G1311B Quaternary Pump comes with an extended pressure range up to 600 bar. This allows the use of smaller particle size columns and results in higher resolution or faster separations. The design provides a virtually pulse-free and stable solvent flow, with dual floating pistons in series, precisely servo-controlled. The variable swept volume enables pulse-free solvent delivery and efficient mixing. The pump is equipped with four solvent inlets with built-in gradient control. The gradient formation is performed by a low pressure gradient valve.
G1329B – ALS (automatic liquid sampler)
The Agilent 1260 Infinity autosampler is designed for use with other modules of the Agilent 1200 Infinity Series, 1200 Series and 1100 Series LC, or with other LC systems if sufficient remote control inputs and outputs are available. The autosamplers are controlled by the Agilent Instant Pilot (G4208A) or by Agilent control software (OpenLAB CDS, ChemStation for LC, EZChrom Elite, etc.).
Three sample rack sizes are available for the autosampler. The standard full-size rack holds 100 × 1.8 mL vials, while the two half-size racks provide space for 40 × 1.8 mL vials and 15 × 6 mL vials respectively. Any two half-size rack trays can be installed in the autosampler simultaneously. A specially designed sample-rack holding 100 × 1.8 mL vials is available for use with
thermostated autosamplers.
The standard analytical head of the metering device provides injection volumes from 0.1 – 100 μL and can be operated at up to 600 bar. A head with extended volume is available for injection volumes from 0.1 – 900 μL and can be operated up to 400 bar (G1329B) or 200 bar (G1329A).
G1316A – TCC (thermostatted column compartment)
The G1316A thermostat column compartment is built with two heat exchangers for solvent preheating, automated column identification module and CAN cable. The compartment’s compact size fits easily into a single Agilent Series HPLC stack. The G1316A offers a temperature range of 10° below ambient to 80°C and a temperature stability of ± 0.15°C. The Agilent G1316A has a column capacity of three columns of 30 centimeters and can use a temperature accuracy of ± 0.8°C. Warming up/cooling down the G1316A takes 5 minutes from ambient temperature to 40°C. This column has many safety and maintenance protocols, such as comprehensive diagnostics, fault detection and display, leak detection, safe leak handling, leak output signal for shutting down the pump system and low voltages in large maintenance areas.
G1314B- VWD (Variable Wavelength Detector)
The G1314B Variable Wavelength Detector (VWD) provides high sensitivity and improves productivity. This detector has a wide linear range for reliable simultaneous quantification of main and by-products, as well as impurities. Programmable wavelength switching for sensitivity and optimized selectivity for any analysis. Minimum baseline noise with the highest baseline stability for the lowest detection limits.
