The buffer recirculation pump of the brand Bio-Rad pump is a unidirectional oscillating pump that provides a controllable and reproducible buffer flow rate, resulting in more reproducible electrophoretic separations. In addition, the flow rate is adjustable from 30% to 90% and this corresponds to a flow rate of 20 mL/min and 375 mL/min, respectively (see table).
