Bio-Rad Gene Pulser Electroporation system

The electroporation system consisting of the Bio-Rad Gene Pulser and the Bio-Rad Capacitance Extender is designed for modular electroporation of most eukaryotic cell types, allowing genetic material to be introduced into cells (transfection). The Bio-Rad Gene Pulser is a pulse generator that uses capacitor discharge to produce controlled exponential pulses for cell electroporation. With this technique, cells are transfected in a reproducible manner.
