The CEM Smart system 5 is a moisture/solids analyzer, for use in the processing line or in the laboratory, and is capable of returning sample results in as little as 3 minutes. It offers precise measurement of liquids, solids and slurries. This analyzer has rugged construction, with easy to operate software, which can store 100 methods, and 300 test results. The software also offers four language choices, English, French, Spanish and German. The CEM Smart system 5 features a flame detector automatically cuts off power, three safety interlock switches, and an infrared temperature controller and measurement.
The Microwave drying chamber, has a max wattage of 300 and the Octawave cavity that delivers energy directly to the samples. The CEM Smart system 5 features a 50 gram four-place analytical electronic balance (±0.1 mg). The CEM Smart system 5 also has a microprocessor, a ¼” VGA black and white screen and internal impact printer. It complies with AOAC official methods 985.14, 985.26 and 2008.6
