Novex QuickPoint Electrophorese cell

The electrophoresis cell of the brand Novel type QuickPoint is a fast and easy acrylamigel electrophoresis system for separating nucleic acids. This electrophoresis cell can be used in many applications instead of large sequencing gels, such as RNase protection (RPA), differential display and phage display. In addition, this electrophoresis cell can also be used to perform sequence reactions in which short DNA read lengths (60-80 bp) can be sufficient, such as in site-directed mutagenesis.
This system uses a pH-neutral buffer that increases the stability of the gel and allows better resolution of bands compared to the usual TBE buffer. Furthermore, the pre-cast Novex gels are only 12.5 cm long and can be used in 15 minutes.
