The Sysmex UF-100 Urine Cell Analyzer is a fully automated urine cell analyzer that uses the flow cytometry method in combination with fluorescent dye and an electrical resistance method to detect casts. This unit is more automated than the UA-1000/2000. The entire process, from mixing and aspirating the sample to running the analyzed parameters, is performed automatically. Analysis includes quantitative analysis and marking.
Quantitative analysis measures: RBC, WBC, epithelial cells, casts and bacteria count (concentration) in the unit of µL or field of view.
Markers: Path, CAST (casts with organized structures), SRC (small round epithelial cell), YLC (yeasty fungal cell), X’TAL (crystal), SPERM (spermatozoa) and displays the marker information (information about their presence).
Analyzed results are displayed on the screen and printed if necessary by a card printer or color printer, and they are sent to a host computer.
