The Telstar Bio II Advance 6 Biological Safety Cabinet main purpose is to protect samples. The main screen of the cabinet shows the laminar flow rate and filter clogging. The cabinet has an Ecomode feature that allows it to run at low speed with one click to protect the sample while the operator performs other tasks. This saves energy and reduces noise and heat output. Other display features include airflow status information, a timer to program the fans and UV light daily, and two password levels (user and technical service). The cabinet also has audible and visual alarms to alert the operator to abnormalities, such as too high or too low a laminar flow rate or insufficient discharge rate.
