Waters 2410 Refractive index detector

The refractive index detector of the brand Waters type 2410 measures very small changes of the refractive index in an eluent to detect the presence of a particular sample. This detector is suitable for analyzing compounds that do not contain strong UV chromophores, fluorophores, electrochemical activity or ionic activity. The Waters 2410 has a low detector noise, thereby users can inject a smaller amount of sample for performing an analysis.
In addition, the Waters 2410 detector can use solvents with a refractive index between 1.00 and 1.75. This refractive index detector is designed for high pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC) and gel permeation chromotography (GPC) applications.
