The nitrogen generator of Whatman type 75-45 contains a ceramic brick that creates the separation of oxygen and water on the one hand and of nitrogen on the other hand. The oxygen and water will be pumped out immediately. This provides a moisture-free air to the benefit of the FITR. The compressor is supposed to deliver oil-free air with a pressure of 4 to 8.5 bar.
